Amboise Castle
Situated on a promontory overlooking the Loire River and owned for more than four centuries by the powerful Amboise family, the castle was attached to the crown in 1434. It served as a residence for several kings of France during the Renaissance (Charles VIII, Louis XI, Louis XII...).

The Clos Lucé
Formerly called the Manor of Cloux, the Château du Clos Lucé was bought by Charles VIII and became a summer residence for the kings of France. In 1516, François I placed it at the disposal of Leonardo da Vinci until his death in 1519.

Chambord Castle

The Loire by bike
The Loire by bike is 800 kilometres of cycle track, 70 km of which runs through the Loir-et-Cher and 100 km in the Indre-et-Loire. This cycle path allows you to discover all the beauty of the river.
